According to a poll from the National Alliance for Youth Sports, approximately 70 percent of kids in the United States stop playing organized sports by the age of 13 because “it’s just not fun anymore.” A few of the major problems for younger athletes are: leagues cost too much, the environment is too competitive and players feel pressured to choose one sport. Here at BmoreKids, our mission is to remove all barriers to participation and encourage kids to love being active. Our leagues are completely free and we provide all the necessary equipment. The kid’s are able to sample a variety of sports and pick the one they like best or continue with all of them. The social environment that we provide gives kids the opportunity to be part of a team and shows them that sports are fun!
